Training & Coaching
"HSA activists are very pleased with the public speaking workshops presented by NOW. They are well presented and organized and offer excellent flow and variety which help keep the sessions fresh and stimulating. The presenters are flexible and skilled at working with new members, and activists with years of experience."
~Leila Lolua, Education Coordinator, Health Sciences Association of BC
NOW’s training sessions are provocative, lively and engaging. Our sessions are customized for you and constantly refined and improved based on client feedback and new techniques...taken from both the world of advertising and politics. We coach individual staff communicators, train groups or work one-on-one with spokespeople. Our training aims to build ongoing communications capacity in our clients.
Internationally, organizations have asked NOW to share our communications expertise with political parties in emerging democracies. Members of our team have been in Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Palestine, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. We’ve been honoured — and humbled — to work with incredible people from diverse parties committed to strengthening the democratic process.
NOW has developed particular expertise in working with women leaders — to help them build their unique strengths as communicators.
Call us to put together a one-on-one coaching or group training session, or to book a speaker for a key event.
"NOW's presenters were dynamic, spoke without pretense and shared their wealth of knowledge in ways that left students feeling empowered."
~Steve Rosenberg, Program Director, Pull Focus Films
